Communication to flow controller / sensor is interrupted

Possible remedy:

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow regulator

The STOP command was not understood by the flow controller

Possible remedy:

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow regulator

The START command was not understood by the flow controller

Possible remedy:

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow Regulator

The WRITE (write) command was not understood by the flow controller

Possible remedy:

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow Regulator

Access to controller parameters # 1 failed.

Possible remedy:

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow Regulator

Access to controller parameters # 2 failed.

Possible remedy:

The FLOW-RANGE command was not understood by the Controller

• Check interface cable (cable break, loose plug, etc.)
• Check the mass flow controller with external data connection and external power supply
• Replace the mass flow Regulator

The received data via the RS232 interface are faulty.

Possible remedy:

• Check interface parameters (baud rate etc.)
• Check the data to be sent. Do they match the requirements?

The pressure sensor does not provide a measuring signal (cable break, etc.)

Possible remedy:

• Check the pressure sensor and replace if necessary

The real-time clock integrated in the device is set to incorrect values

• Reset the date and time
• Check backup battery for clock (under CPU module)

In the case of multi-range devices, the wrong setpoint was selected for the selected measuring range

Possibe remedy:

• Check the test program setting
• Check the selection of the test program
